March 30, 2020

To all customers,

With reference to the Government Gazette No: 11062, Annexure B, Regulation 11A (GOODS), Rotocon provides the tools and service essential to the production of labels for pharmaceutical goods, food and hygiene products. Therefore, Rotocon falls under the exemption from the 21-day lockdown and will continue business operations during the COVID-19 crisis.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Rotocon is fully supportive of and committed to adhering to the regulations and guidelines issued by President Ramaphosa and the government during the 21-day lockdown period.

Rotocon is taking all the necessary steps to reduce the requirement for travel, implementing strict hygiene protocols across our areas of operation, and enforcing physical distancing wherever possible.

As Rotocon’s mandate to continue as an essential service supplier in the packaging value chain, I wish to confirm the following:

  • Flexible dies will be delivered as normal.
  • Chromed rotaries dies will be delivered as normal – we stocked up on material.
  • No hardened dies will be delivered due to supplier closing.
  • Sharpening of rotary dies as normal.

Please note that the above is stated to our best information at this time, but circumstances can quickly change in these challenging times.

We are here to support you in any way we can.

Sincerely,

Michael Aengenvoort
CEO
ROTOCON
